Fresh Cuts® was founded by florist Courtney Pino, owner of Abby Garden Floral, out of a very real frustration: the current foam-free options on the market weren’t working. They were either too unstructured, too wasteful, too expensive, or simply didn’t perform the way working florists need them to. After years of designing at scale and searching for a better solution, it became clear—if the right product didn’t exist, it needed to be created. And while everyone else is focused on biodegradable (i.e. single use), we thought “why not reusable, instead?”.

The Comb™ is the floral industry’s first ever reusable and storable floral mechanic designed to replace single-use materials like foam and chicken wire. Made in the USA from soft Thermoplastic Polyurethane, it’s flexible, durable, impact-resistant and built to withstand repeated use and washing. The honeycomb structure functions similarly to chicken wire—providing support and stem stability. While contrary to chicken wire, the soft nature of the TPU functions more efficiently for natural, organic placement and more flexibility throughout the design process. It holds stems securely without damaging them, making it ideal for both everyday arrangements and large-scale installations.
